PhD Candidate, ECE Dept. University of New Mexico

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at the University of New Mexico. I am currently working as a graduate research assistant in Prof. Schamiloglu's group (The Pulsed Power, Beams, and Microwave Laboratory in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering). My dissertation advisor is Edl Schamiloglu, Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Associate Dean for Research and Innovation.

My dissertation work addresses a new technique of multiple electron beam generation with different energies and comparable currents powered by a single cathode potential for high-power microwave sources.

I am originally from a small town, the northern part of Bangladesh. I received a B.S. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Eastern University and a Master's of Electrical Engineering with Applied Electromagnetic major from the department of ECE at the University of New Mexico. My Master's thesis was a qualitative approach of ''characterization of methods for surface charge removal to reduce electrostatic discharge events''.

I have held various professional positions throughout my graduate education ranging from teaching and research assistantships to various educational and outreach programs.
